Pyramid Solitaire: a guide for your next round

Read the aim of Pyramid Solitaire, then make your first move. Remove all 28 pyramid cards. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move. Compare the starting position with the example in the Guide. Look at what changes after your first action.

Pyramid, stock and waste; one stock recycle. Free solo play, no wagering.

An idea for your next attempt

Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use. Make the next step deliberately.

The challenge in front of you

Remove all 28 pyramid cards. The feedback beside the game helps you follow the round. Check the rules when you are unsure.

The playing sequence

  1. Only uncovered cards are selectable. Pairs total 13; a king removes alone.
  2. Click an exposed card or eligible pair to remove it.
  3. Draw when useful.
  4. Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.

Input guidance

Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. A careful first action helps you become familiar with the layout. Contact us with the game and device if a control does not respond.

Follow the example

An exposed queen pairs with an ace; a jack pairs with a 2. Focus on why the action is allowed, not only its outcome. Notice the change in the playing area.

A mistake to avoid

Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. Check the rule before repeating the action. After a move, check what changed. Decide which rule explains the new state before acting again.
